Occupational, Speech

& Physical Therapy

for Children

Every child develops at their own pace.

Sometimes children need extra support to build the skills necessary for success at home, school, and in their community.

At Adventure Pediatric Therapy, we provide Occupational Therapy (OT), Speech Therapy (ST), and Physical Therapy (PT) to help children gain confidence, independence, and the skills they need for the adventure of growing up.

Many children benefit from a combination of occupational, speech, and physical therapy. By offering multiple therapy services in one clinic, our therapists can collaborate to provide individualized care that supports your child's unique strengths, needs, and goals.

We believe every child is capable of learning, growing, and thriving. Our team partners with families to create meaningful goals and celebrate progress every step of the way.

If you have questions about whether OT, Speech Therapy, or Physical Therapy may be right for your child, we'd love to help. Contact us today to learn more about our services and schedule an evaluation.

Before you begin …

If you have concerns about your child's development, the first step is to discuss them with your child's pediatrician. They can help determine whether a referral for occupational therapy, physical therapy, or speech therapy is appropriate.

A referral is required before we can complete an evaluation. Once your referral has been sent to our office, our team will contact you to discuss the next steps, answer your questions, and help schedule an evaluation.

What to Expect

The first appointment is a comprehensive evaluation with one of our licensed therapists. During this visit, we'll:

  • Learn about your child's strengths and challenges

  • Review developmental history and parent concerns

  • Observe skills through standardized assessments and play-based activities

  • Answer your questions

Evaluations typically last 60–90 minutes, depending on the service.

Schedule an Evaluation

After the evaluation, your therapist will review the results with you and develop an individualized treatment plan.

Together, we'll establish meaningful goals that reflect your family's priorities and your child's everyday life.

Examples might include:

  • Improving communication

  • Building independence with daily routines

  • Increasing strength and coordination

  • Developing sensory regulation

  • Improving feeding skills

  • Enhancing social participation

Personalized Goal Planning

Once everything is in place, we'll schedule ongoing therapy sessions.

During treatment, your therapist will:

  • Use fun, engaging, play-based activities

  • Track progress toward goals

  • Adjust treatment as your child grows

  • Partner closely with parents and caregivers

Family is an important part of the therapy team. You will be provided with resources, handouts, and weekly “homework” because progress is achieved through consistency at therapy and at home!
