Student Observation & Volunteer Opportunities

Adventure Pediatric Therapy is happy to support students interested in learning more about pediatric occupational therapy. We offer both observation (shadowing) and volunteer opportunities, depending on availability and clinic needs.

Observation (Shadowing):

Observation opportunities are designed for students who want to learn more about pediatric occupational therapy as a career. Observers will primarily watch therapy sessions and gain general exposure to the clinic environment.
• Limited to 10 total hours maximum
• Scheduling is more structured

VS

Volunteering:

Volunteer opportunities are ideal for students interested in supporting a pediatric clinic environment in a non-clinical role. Volunteers assist with administrative and operational tasks that help the clinic run smoothly and support our therapy team
• Hours can vary and are more flexible
• Tasks may include helping clean and organize the sensory gym, organizing therapy materials, copying parent resources, and general clinic support
